Monta Loma is one of six elementary schools in the Mountain View-Whisman School District. Our school is located in the northwestern area of Mountain View, California. Monta Loma has a school population of approximately 500 students ranging from Kindergarten to Fifth grade.

The 2009-2010 school year marks the start of a school wide joint parent/school organization. Community Enhanced Learning combines the efforts of students, teachers and parents to create a strong sense of community, values, and high student achievement.

Monta Loma es una de las seis escuelas primarias en el Mountain View Whisman-Distrito Escolar. Nuestra escuela está situada en el noroeste de la zona de Mountain View, California. Monta Loma tiene una población escolar de aproximadamente 500 estudiantes desde kindergarten a quinto grado. Monta Loma para 2009-2010 se está ampliando la participación de los padres a una escuela conjunta padres y la organización escolar. Aumento de la comunidad de aprendizaje se combinan los esfuerzos de los estudiantes, profesores y padres para crear un fuerte sentido de comunidad, los valores, y de alto rendimiento de los estudiantes.

Monta Loma API rises again - now 834!

Monta Loma is thrilled to announce another jump in our API! The California State Department of Education just released the new API and AYP results based on last year’s California Standards Test. Monta Loma continues to make gains in both areas. This year our API rose another 14 points to place us at 834. We have gained 60 points in the last two years! Additionally, ML met all AYP targets in English Language Arts and Math. If you are interested in more detailed information, please feel free to contact me

Fundraising

Our school has many programs and needs that are not funded by federal, local, or district funds. Yet many of these programs are very important to us and our students. We need your financial support in order to keep these programs running.
