Core value of the month: Respect
PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE
Dear Monta Loma Families,
Spring is in the air and it’s time for some gentle reminders about rules on campus. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students safe and healthy.
Reporting an absence
All student absences must be reported to the school. You may send an email message to [email protected] or call the student absences line at 650-903-6915 ext. 3880. Please include in your message student’s first and last name, room number, and reason for absence. You must call the absence line by 8:45am to avoid receiving an auto dialer message requesting you to contact the school to verify your child’s absence.
Lost and found
Did your child lose a jacket, lunch box, or a sweatshirt? Please stop by the Lost and Found Cart next to the MUR. If the items are not picked up by this Friday March 22nd after school, they will be donated to charity.
Non-school/personal items at school:
Students should not bring items other than school materials on campus without the consent of the classroom teacher. The school is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal materials. Cell phones are not needed by students at school. If students have them, they must be turned off and stored in backpacks.
Snacks and lunches
Students work hard at school. They need healthy snacks and lunches to fuel their brains for the day. Please do not send students with candy or sodas. Students may get breakfast before school or brunch at recess (not both) and lunch in the cafeteria. Free or reduced pricing for food is available for eligible families.
To protect students with allergies, we do not allow students to share food.
In partnership,
Gloria
