The School Site Council (SSC) provides guidance and oversight in how students, parents, teachers, district representatives, state representatives, and the local community work together to maximize the success of current educational goals.

In addition to fulfilling any responsibilities as prescribed by the current California Educational Code and the current policies of the MVWSD, the SSC may also take on additional tasks and responsibilities as recommended by the current principal of Monta Loma.

In carrying out its objectives, the SSC will strive to promote open communication and transparency, and endeavor to make sure the wants and needs of all concerned parties are fairly represented.

Monta Loma's SSC is composed of the school principal, 1 teacher, 1 classified staff member, & 3 non-school employed parents of current students.

School Site Council Meetings
SSC meetings are open to the public. They take place on the Tuesdays listed below in the library or virtually via Zoom. Agendas are posted 72 hours in advance in the glass case in front of the Community Room. Members of the public may be granted limited time to speak on any topic on the agenda.
